We provide children with a strong foundation in beginning levels so that the can be able to build in future levels. We teach basic tumbling skills. Forward roll, Backward roll and Handstand. We condition the body with strength, flexibility and co-ordination
Once children move up to this level they are able to start competitions. Classes are of more serious nature and the emphasis is on strength and neatness, as the training gets more strenuous to prepare the child to a standard were Provincial and Protea colors can be achieved
Bokamoso Tumbling Club (BTC) has a vision to promote a tumbling program within the sporting code of gymnastics to township communities. The aim is to expose children to diverse and unique opportunities, and help eradicate our social illness.
BTC has qualified 4 of its elite gymnast to a Provincial championship, and two with Provincial colors and a bronze medal at the National championship in Cape Town 2019.
Our outreach program has helped Zama Xolani Mofokeng achieve his Guinness World Record breaking 2018, and promote the sport in the community.
27 year old born and raised in Tembisa, South African Guinness World Record holder Zama Xolani Mofokeng started tumbling at the age of 10. Zama experienced some challenges growing up when his left arm broke as he tries a one-hand tumbling trick. With no professional training, tumbling can be very tricky.
Bokamoso Tumbling Club partnered with Zama by providing him with professional training that leads him to become a Guinness World Record holder for most consecutive back handspring done using one hand.
Designed for each child’s skills level both physical and mentally.
